🔹 Card 1: Pediatric Assessment Triangle (PAT)
The Pediatric Assessment Triangle is a 30-second, hands-off assessment tool used worldwide in emergency medicine and pediatrics. It gives clinicians an immediate snapshot of a child’s overall physiological status—helping you determine:
✔️ A general impression of the child patient
✔️ The level of severity of the presenting condition and urgency of resonse
✔️ The most likely category of their condition
It guides whether you need to act fast, escalate care, or transport urgently.
👶 Appearance (using TICLS)
•    Tone – Limp, floppy, or moving spontaneously etc?
•    Interactiveness – Engaged, alert, curious etc?
•    Consolability – Comforted by caregiver etc?
•    Look/Gaze – Making eye contact, tracking etc?
•    Speech/Cry – Strong, weak, absent, or abnormal etc?
